About St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, LCMC
Who Are Lutherans? The Lutheran Church is the second largest Christian denomination in the world, with roughly 70 million members. In the United States, it is the fourth largest Christian denomination. We believe that God Almighty is our Creator, Jesus Christ is our Savior, and the Holy Spirit is our Sanctifier who brings us to newness of life. We accept the Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God. We define the Church as the fellowship of those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Church is essential to Christian life and growth. We celebrate two sacraments within our church as the God-given means for penetrating our lives with His love and grace. They are Baptism and Holy Communion. We live, not according to a formula of “do’s” and “don’ts,” but in the true freedom of Christian love and responsibility.
